The style of Tutting is one of the most prominent ways of expression inside the realms of all illusionary dance forms.
The rules and principles of the art are simple to grasp on, but quite hard to execute. It is mainly about constructing poses with 90% angles.
We move by:
- folding
- tracing / contouring
- turning / rotating

The Magazine-Style in tutting is based on the reference to a paper magazine that one plays with by folding and unfolding abstractly.
this 8-count rudiment is a great start to get into it. It serves particularly well to start a popping solo with since its moves are intriguingly detailed but small. -
